Key Initiatives and Strategic Proposals for the Development of the Construction Sector

Today, the construction industry is not merely about erecting buildings, but about shaping a modern lifestyle and laying the foundation for the future. However, delays in documentation and bureaucratic barriers negatively impact not only entrepreneurs but the entire economy.

The Association of Developers of Uzbekistan, during an open dialogue with developers and industry leaders, presented proposals aimed at addressing these key challenges:

I. Introduction of new mechanisms for land plot allocation and realization.

II. Increasing the investment attractiveness of renovation projects.

III. Protection of consumer rights and legitimate interests, and strengthening measures against non-transparent developers.

IV. Incentivizing transparent developers.

V. Improving permitting and approval procedures.
