Open Dialogue on Enhancing Export Potential of the Construction Sector
On January 21, an open dialogue was held under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev, with the participation of Uzbekistan’s ambassadors abroad and entrepreneurs.
During the meeting, the strategic proposals presented by Mansurjon Niyazmukhamedov, Chairman of the Association of Builders of Uzbekistan, aimed at increasing the sector’s export potential, received full support. In particular:
1. Access to Global Markets and Recognition of Certificates
The Gulf countries and Eastern European markets were identified as priority areas. Ambassadors were tasked with assisting in the development of a comprehensive database on these countries.
2. Rating Incentives for Exporters
To enhance the competitiveness of national companies, additional rating points will be granted to exporting enterprises within the national information system “Transparent Construction.”
3. Russian Market: Saving Time and Costs
Measures will be taken to organize Russian language examinations in branches of Russian universities located in Tashkent for builders operating in the Russian market.
